MEMORIES OF THE CAMP

PSU Rx Camp 20/05/2018

This awesome photo was the photo of PSU Rx Camp which was arranged by the pharmacy students. It was taken in May 20th, 2018 at heart-shaped reservoir of Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai district, Songkhla. We took this picture with our group staff who were taking care of us during the camping period. On the left side of the picture was P’ View, the middle one was P’ Pin and the right one was P’ Non. There were also other friends from different schools and levels who were put together after getting accepted to this camp. The reason I choose this one to post on my blog is that it was the best and most enjoyable camp I have joined. Moreover, it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg to join the camp. Another camp this was the second fun was Vetcamp which was arranged by Kasetsart University. It was packed with a lot of good memories. I got a lot of gifts from this camp such as notebooks, bags, t-shirts and snacks from the seniors who were in the same school as me. This picture was taken on the second day of the camp. Of all 3 days, today was the most amazing one because we got to do activities all day. First of all, we counted the pills, studied pharmacy tools. Then we did walk rally so that we could collect herbs. One of the leading staff was in the full cosplay outfit which made him look like the Victoria’s secret’s angel. I couldn’t stop looking at him. After that we got to make perfume gel and personally, I loved this activity the most. There was the moment when we were studying the perfume and the staff asked for the penny of our thoughts about the perfume scent in her hand. I got the right answer and it made me so proud of myself. In the evening, there was the temple fair activity and each group had to perform. Late at night, there was the holy thread activity which was the last one before the camp came to an end. There was no activity on the third day because we would receive certificate and reveal our secret santa. P’Non, one of my group staff cried in the holy thread activity. He said to me that he would really love to thank me for completing our group. He hoped that I had enjoyed the camp and got something from them. It didn’t matter what I would choose to study in the university. I just needed to fight for it and do my best. He also wished me all the best and not to forget to come visit them sometime. After this camp, P’Non was selected to be the camp leader in the following year. My friends from the camp are so lovely and we still keep one another in contact. The friend I talk to the most is the second one from the right side named Bank who wore purple pants. He is from Nakhon Si Thammarat. He laughed a lot during the camp activities and that made me laugh as well. His special talent was that he could tell which pharmacy students studied in pharmaceutical care or who studied industrial pharmacy. I have always amazed how he knew it and the staff felt the same way as well. He was very diligent. His favorite subject was chemistry. I knew because I always asked him about my chemistry homework. During covid-19 pandemic and we had to stay at home, I earned some money by painting watches and sold them, he was the one who told me the make it a business. I had to thank him a lot because I got something to do. The next guy from Bank was Boom. He came from Trang and used to study in Walailak University but he resigned. He was very friendly and a good dancer. He taught me the dance moves when we had to perform. I liked to ask him about attractions because my boyfriend is from Trang as well but he knows nothing about places to hangout. The left girl was Nuch and she also studied in Walailak University in the faculty of medical technology. She was very lovely. Her job was to interview the students who they felt about the university. I did the interview with her and I put it on my blog. The camp staff who I follow on instagram and still talk to is P’Pin. She participated my instagram story and asked me to review the camp. She told me that I looked like a quiet person in the camp but I turned out to be the funny one. She confessed to me that she really wanted my stuffed animal. That cracked me up. I would like to thank this camp for letting good people into my life as well as experience that can’t be found anywhere else because I was punished to do the ‘Mudmee’ dance several times that my neck was almost broken.
